After Completion. Success in small matters. Perseverance furthers. At the beginning good fortune, at the end disorder.

Water over fire: the image of the condition in After Completion. Thus the superior man takes thought of misfortune and arms himself against it in advance.
INTERPRETATION
Every line is in its proper place — yin in yin positions, yang in yang positions. Perfect order has been achieved. The task is complete.
But perfection is the most unstable state. From here, the only direction is toward disorder. Do not rest on achievement. The warning is clear: at the beginning good fortune, at the end disorder. Maintain vigilance precisely when things seem most settled.
